  • Identity issues

Before transitioning into a transgender, have you undergone an identity crisis? If so, did you ever seek help and who helped you? Because for me, there was no one there when I faced this kind of crisis, I feared that when I told someone about my identity issues, they would laugh and will be disgusted at me. Luckily, I was able to overcome this all by myself, it was hard but I did it.

I was so lucky at that time that I had friends who helped me deal with my identity crisis. They assured me that whoever I might choose to become, they will support me and that they are always there for me.

My family is always there to support me all the way, they are very accepting that is why I never felt that there is something wrong with me.

I've faced that transitioning period without seeking help for others. I would recommend you to just do whatever you want and never think about what others tell you.

Maybe you can tell us what are some of the things that you do in order to overcome that awkward period?

As far as I know, most people who consider themselves as non-binary tend to have those issues since they feel that they're in the wrong body

You are right, this is one of the plights of transgenders that we do not know about.

I'm glad that you're over that stage already. Was just wondering how long did it take before you got over it?

I admire how strong you are, you faced this alone without the support of your parents and yet here you are, happy and free.

It is a given that a person who considers him/herself as non-binary to have an identity crisis. I think what's important is the support of your friends who are from the community in order for you to ease into preferred gender

Did you have friends who suffered from identity crisis before that is why you're able to give that advice?

Good for you that you're able to get over that identity crisis by yourself. But I would suggest to talk with a specialist in order to be sure that you've truly overcame it already

I pray that someday, families of the LGBTQ will be able to accept their sons and daughters chosen gender and sexual orientation.

Let us hope that in the future, people will be more open minded about us and that they will be able to accepts us as part of the society.
